Coffee With Purpose

Did you know 40 million people are trapped in modern day slavery globally? Did you know human trafficking is one of the fastest growing crimes in Canada? Did you know 72% of reported human trafficking victims in Canada are under the age of 25?

Your morning brew can be more than a delicious way to start the day — it can be a vote to break the cycle of human trafficking and abuse in your city, country, and the world. 50% of the net profits of our small batch, ethically sourced, and locally roasted coffee are donated to support local and global charities doing this invaluable work.

Ethical & Sustainable Suppliers

Imagine tasting an amazing cup of specialty coffee and smelling its wonderful aroma knowing that you are making a difference on the other side of the world. As you take a sip a smile crosses your face as you picture the farmers and their communities being able to build their new school or receive clean water.

Common Grounds Coffee believes in building meaningful relationships with coffee suppliers who wish to live in a world where the coffee they produce represents more than coffee, but a direct method to improve the community’s livelihood, and to make the world a better place.

Providing Premium Quality

Common Grounds Coffee roasts our beans in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. Each coffee sourced is analyzed and sampled by our Q-Grader and the roast is customized to ensure the coffee has the unique flavor of the land it was grown in. The coffee you enjoy is traced every step of the way, from tree to cup!

Sourcing from Southeast Asia

Common Grounds Coffee sources our green beans from the developing coffee regions of Southeast Asia. We have selected organizations and cooperatives that align with our goals and seek to support the local communities.

We are very excited to showcase the unique, sustainable and natural coffee that is grown in this region.
